It's a batch pre-mixed that's loaded with the tastes associated with festive period, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Save the extra syrup for morning drinks, sweets, or to mix more rounds of this cocktail.

Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Cocktail (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Method
To prepare the Syrup: Combine all the ingredients into a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the burner and let it to cool down entirely. Decant into a sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for about one month.
For the Cocktail Base: Combine the specified liquids in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it best through cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the batch mix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for a minute until cold. Filter into a chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
